Kathy is a native of Asheville. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Western Carolina University, graduating cum laude.

Kathy joined our practice in 1979 as a Registered Nurse and later completed the Family Nurse Practitioner program through MAHEC in Asheville. She is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Family Nurse Practitioner and sees patients of all ages.

Kathy and her husband, Paul, have two daughters, Carter and Caroline.

Gwen is a native of Tennessee. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Belmont University. Gwen received her Masters Degree in Nursing and completed the Nurse Practitioner program at Vanderbilt University.

Gwen is a Family Nurse Practitioner, seeing patients of all ages, and is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She joined our practice in 2005 and in addition to her work with our practice, she is an Assistant Professor in the Family Nurse Practitioner Program at Western Carolina University. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society and is the recipient of the 2006 Allied Health Recognition Award, presented by the American Academy of Asthma, Allergy and Immunotherapy. She is also certified by the National Asthma Education Certification Board as an asthma educator.

Marcie is a native of Louisiana. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Kansas and her Masters Degree in Nursing from Ohio State University. She completed the Nurse Practitioner program at Emory University in Atlanta.

Marcie is an Adult Nurse Practitioner certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and sees patients ages 13 and older. Marcie is also a member of the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society and received the National Asthma and Respiratory Training Center Diploma in 2000. She has been with our practice since 1998.

Marcie and her husband, David, have two children, Mendy and Logan.
